Background
About Dudjom Rinpoche
Widely recognized as one of Tibet's greatest yogis, the Lord of Refuge, Dudjom Rinpoche, Jigdral Yeshe Dorje, (1904-1987) was the head of the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhism. Recognized as an emanation of many important masters, including Guru Rinpoche, Dudjom Rinpoche was revered for his intelligence, wisdom, and artistry. His scriptural legacy alone includes more than forty volumes of sutra and tantra as well as his own newly revealed Dharma Treasures which contain the innermost essence of the Buddha's 84,000 teachings.
About Dudjom Lingpa (1835 -1904)
Dudjom Lingpa is the immediate predecessor of Dudjom Rinpoche. He was one of the most famous of all treasure revealers yet it is said that he never had a human teacher. Through the power of pure vision he dialogued with buddhas in their purelands. During his lifetime, he revealed the lineage of the New Treasures of Dudjom and described his teachings as very suitable for the beings of these dark Kali Yuga.
