New Projects & Activities in 2010

Online Learning: One of our major projects for 2010 is an online learning program for the in-depth study of the three inner classes of tantra (Mahayoga, Anuyoga, and Atiyoga), the unique teachings of the Nyingma. The curriculum will begin with Dudjom Rinpoche's "History of Buddhism (chos 'byung) and the Nyingma Tradition," presented via downloadable video teachings by Lama Tsering Gyaltsen and translator, web conferencing classes with Lama Dechen Yeshe Wangmo, and optional onsite meetings twice a year.

Sacred Art: A new drawing of Yeshe Tsogyal for our visualization practice will be commissioned to Cynthia Moku, an accomplished thangka painter who will be working under Lama Tharchin Rinpoche's guidance. This is a very important project for the preseravation of the lineage.

Translation: We will be publishing a few pilgrimage guides to the sacred sites of Yeshe Tsogyal in Tibet. This will increase our knowledge of her life and also provide original material for a future commercial publication we are planning on the subject of Yeshe Tsogyal.

Media & Archives: We will be launching an archive of audio and video teachings, some of which will be downloadable.Publications: More lightly edited transcripts of Lama Tharchin Rinpoche's teachings given at various Jnanasukha programs will be published.

Tibet: New East West Connection: We are working with Gyurme Dorje of Trans-Himalaya planning more pilgrimages to the sacred sites of Yeshe Tsogyal in Tibet, including an excursion to Repkong, Lama Tharchin Rinpoche's ancestral home in Amdo. Weare presently in contact with the abbess at the birthplace of Yeshe Tsogyal, exploring how we help her restore and develop this sacred area damaged during the Cultural Revolution.

Teacher Dana Fund: Lama Dechen Yeshe Wangmo is our founder and director. Her deep connection with Yeshe Tsogyal and several Dudjom lineage teachers enable us to envision and resource our projects. In addition to teaching, she manages the day-to-day operations of Jnanasukha.Lama is responsible for preserving our mission, vision, and values and for leading us to continued growth. In recognition of her value to Jnanasukha, we have created a Teacher Dana Fund to help with her living and health expenses.

Advice from
Yeshe Tsogyal

Bring whatever happens under your power;

Hold on to bliss and find its essence;

Otherwise the secret teachings are meaningless.
